Mortgage rates are the name of the game, and they are still too high with where home prices are at. Prices have not dropped as far as many have hoped for while rates have followed suit. Year-to-date, the median sale price in Bonner County went down from $580,000 to $560,000, a 3.4 percent decline. Concessions have been more common to help buyers with the affordability, and that trend should continue rounding out the 2023 year.
