Art Exhibit at Blackwell Gallery in Downtown Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County Farmers Market in Hayden, Sandpoint Farmers Market at Farmin Park and Bonners Ferry CROP Hunger Walk at Bonners Ferry High School. CAROUSEL GRAND OPENING Fri. June 9, noon-8pm Tomorrow is the grand opening for the Playland Pier Carousel in conjunction with the First Annual Family Day in the Park and Fancy Flea Market. This is a free, family friendly event, and the community is invited to enjoy a multitude of events throughout City Park, Memorial Plaza, Memorial Field and Skateboard Park. Read more 2ND FRIDAY ARTWALK Fri. June 9, 5-8pm The second Friday of each month, April through December, stroll through beautiful Downtown Coeur d’Alene and experience the vibrant arts and locally and nationally acclaimed artists in participating galleries. Just look for the official yellow Art Walk balloons! This is a free family friendly. Read more ELKFEST Fri. June 9 - Sun. June 11 Elkfest is unlike many area music festivals with its grassroots approach, very little outside sponsorship and a reputation for being Spokane’s best summer neighborhood party on the streets of historic Browne’s Addition neighborhood and is free to enjoy from the street; $2 cover for beer garden and restaurant. Read more COEUR D'ALENE ARTIST STUDIO TOUR Sat. June 11 & Sun. June 12 The Coeur d’Alene Arts and Cultural Alliance presents the 5th Annual Artists Studio Tour. Visit 25 local artists in 12 studios in the greater Coeur d’Alene area and witness the creative process in action. An Artist Reception will be held 5 to 8pm Friday, June 9, at Emerge Studio.
