The 11th annual Panhandle Preparedness Expo runs September 26 and 27 at the Bonner County Fairgrounds Main Exhibit Building on North Boyer Road. The two-day event covers disaster awareness through speaker sessions, hands-on demonstrations, and vendor exhibits focused on emergency preparedness and community resilience. This year's expo welcomes the filmmaking team behind the upcoming feature film One Second After for a sneak preview and behind-the-scenes discussion. Tickets cost $5 for one day or $9 for both days, and children 12 and under get in free. The expo is cash only, with a $1 discount for donating a non-perishable food item to the Bonner County Food Bank.
