Presented by Sandpoint Leadership, don't miss the second annual Cinco de Mayo Block Party. This family friendly event takes place on May 5 in downtown Sandpoint on Main Street (between First and Second streets) and will feature local vendors, food, beer and wine, music, fun activities for the kids, raffles and silent auction. Held noon to 4pm, entry is free, with tickets for food and drinks, as well as the auction and raffle, available to purchase at the event. The Block Party is a fundraiser to benefit NAMI Far North (NAMIFarNorth.org), the National Alliance on Mental Illness, to establish the Sand Creek Clubhouse to help people in the community struggling with mental illness.
