Celebrate MLK Weekend at Schweitzer during the Deschutes Red Chair Weekend, taking place January 16–19, 2026. The Deschutes crew is returning to the mountain, bringing their popular Snow Bar to the Village, weather permitting. Located near the Clock Tower, the Snow Bar will open Friday evening and will be serving Deschutes beers throughout the weekend, offering guests a fun gathering spot as the festivities get underway.
On Saturday, visitors can enjoy the Torchlight Parade and fireworks, a highlight of the weekend. The parade and show create a memorable night on the mountain and offer guests a chance to take in one of Schweitzer’s well-loved winter traditions. Pair the experience with a Deschutes brew and time in the Village for an enjoyable evening at the resort.
