In a market where relationships, trust, and expertise matter most, the agents at Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty in Sandpoint stand out—not just for what they do, but for how they do it. Embracing the theme “Powerful Together,” these six professionals combine individual experience with a shared standard of excellence.

They’re advisors, negotiators, advocates, and friends—committed to collaboration, community, and client success. Though each journey is distinct, their values align: serve with integrity, elevate the experience, and support one another along the way. At Tomlinson Sotheby's International Realty, success isn’t just personal—it’s collaborative. That’s what makes them powerful together.

Q. Tomlinson Sotheby’s International Realty embraces the theme “Powerful Together.” What does that message mean to you, and how does it reflect your unique strengths to the brand?

Shannon Schulz:

A. Powerful Together reflects the philosophy at our brokerage. We bring decades of insight, not only from our careers in real estate but also from the diverse life experiences that shape how we show up for our clients. It’s more than shared knowledge—it’s a culture of camaraderie, mutual respect, and a shared commitment to excellence. That connection fuels exceptional outcomes for our clients and strengthens our positive impact on our community.

Carrie LaGrace:

A. I often say, “Real Estate is about life, and life changes.” Powerful Together reflects the shared wisdom we gain from book club discussions and roundtable sessions. These spaces allow ideas to flow, strengthen our problem-solving, and ensure we deliver exceptional, white-glove service through genuine collaboration and professional support.

Desiree Staples:

A. Real estate is never a solo endeavor. Powerful Together resonates because meaningful results come from working with shared goals and mutual respect. I’m grateful to collaborate with professionals who support, challenge, and grow with one another—so when we bring our best, our clients truly feel the difference in every interaction.

Fabiola Ferris:

A. When Carrie LaGrace first said “Powerful Together,” it clicked—it’s a philosophy that defines how we work. We combine decades of knowledge, lean on each other, and grow through every transaction. Real estate is about people and transition, and having a united group behind you makes all the difference—for us and our clients.

Carlene Peterson:

A. Through our strength as colleagues and friends, we support one another by sharing both our expertise and the proven excellence of Sotheby’s International Realty. That shared strength not only deepens our relationships with each other, but also with our clients and the greater community.

Lisa Travers:

A. Powerful Together perfectly describes the philosophy of our brokerage and this impressive group of women I’m blessed to work with. We share decades of perspective and experience—in real estate and in life. Combined with mutual support and dedication to our profession, this foundation produces exceptional results for our clients and community.

Q. As a Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist, how do you leverage your skills to build long-term client relationships in the luxury market?

Shannon Schulz:

A. I lead with intention and integrity, prioritizing trust and connection. Through concierge-style service, vendor referrals, and a strong national network, I create elevated experiences that extend beyond the transaction. Every client is “1 of 1,” and I’m committed to long-term relationships rooted in care, collaboration, and consistency.

Q. How do your elevated marketing skills and negotiation expertise give your clients an edge in today's competitive real estate market?

Carrie LaGrace:

A. With 20 years in real estate and a background in high-tech sales, I bring strategic insight, strong negotiation skills, and deep local knowledge. My business is rooted in relationships, not just transactions. I guide clients with clarity and confidence, blending marketing, networking, and experience to deliver results in today’s fast-moving market.

Q. With your experience as a Military Relocation Professional, how do you ensure a smooth transition for military families moving to the area?

Desiree Staples:

A. While I don't work with many active-duty buyers, I do work with veterans planning their next chapter. I help them navigate the home-buying process while connecting them to local resources, support, and community. It’s about more than real estate—it’s a privilege to support those who have served our country.

Q. With multiple designations and licenses in both WA and ID, how do you use your expertise to manage complex transactions and deliver exceptional service?

Fabiola Ferris:

A. With licenses in both Washington and Idaho, I guide clients through varying markets with confidence. My background in managing complex projects helps me stay organized and solve problems quickly. I remain calm, clear, and caring—especially during tough moments—ensuring every detail is handled and every client feels fully supported.

Q. With 25 years of experience as a local native, how do you integrate your deep knowledge of the area into guiding clients through real estate transactions?

Carlene Peterson:

A. After 25 years in Bonner County real estate, listening—truly hearing clients—is second nature. Having lived here almost my entire life, I know this area deeply. Real estate involves emotional, legal, and financial decisions, and I guide clients through it all with experience, energy, and lasting relationships built on trust. Many become lifelong friends along the way.

Q. With a finance and commercial lending background, how does this expertise enhance your ability to negotiate and manage real estate contracts?

Lisa Travers:

A. My background in commercial lending and as a CFO sharpened my negotiation skills and attention to detail. I now combine that expertise with a heart for service to guide clients through real estate. Having grown up in Sandpoint, it’s a joy to champion this extraordinary place we call HOME.
