Carl Orff's Carmina Burana at the Panida Theater

The Music Conservatory of Sandpoint presents Carl Orff's Carmina Burana for two nights at the Panida Theater, Tuesday and Wednesday, August 18-19. The North Idaho Philharmonia joins the Bel Canto Opera and community voices for the full choral and orchestral work, anchored by its dramatic opening movement “O Fortuna.” Both performances start at 7 pm inside the historic downtown theater. The piece calls for a full orchestra, chorus, and vocal soloists to perform together on stage, a rare pairing on Sandpoint's concert calendar. Tickets will be available through the Panida box office.
